This activity will help illustrate the need of engineers to continue developing resources that will help meet the demands of renewable energy sources for the future. Students will work in teams to have a hands on learning experience as they participate in this simple low cost activity of comparing non-renewable resources and renewable resources for providing the world with its energy needs. This activity is great for Engineering Technology and Introduction Technology Education classes
