In this presentation, we'll explore how harnessing AI can unlock new opportunities within your school. One area of focus is on STEM education and data-driven applications. By integrating AI tools, educators can create personalized learning experiences that cater to individual student needs, fostering a more engaging and student-driven learning environment.
Adobe has fully embraced Artificial Intelligence and embedded it into many of its most popular creative tools. Come learn how the A.I. tools in Adobe Firefly, Photoshop, and Express can empower you and your students to be even more creative. Even though these A.I tools can be engaging, the benefits go way beyond entertainment. Come learn how Adobe A.I. can open up new possibilities for teachers to teach and students to learn creatively and effectively. All three of these Adobe tools have web-based versions, so they work well on Chromebooks as well as other computers. Public school teachers of grades K-12 and public school students in grades 7-12 have been provided access to each of these powerful tools.
While setting up dual credit courses for high school students, I encountered resistance from university departments and faculty in allowing high school students access to entry-level college classes, especially in the online format (even when it already existed). Thus, I conducted research to evaluate high school student’s performance (based on final grades) in online, face-to-face, and hybrid college classes compared to post-secondary (undergrad) students in the same courses and using the same delivery methods. Come to this session to see the surprising results and how the data influenced educators' opinions about high school students' abilities.
