A crash course on how to design for and use the Shaper Origin handheld CNC

Participants will learn about the workflow for using the Shaper Origin (design, prep, cutting, finishing) as well as tips and tricks derived from use with my students. Several project ideas will be presented and attendees (number permitting) will all have the chance to operate the Shaper Origin.

Students will work in teams to have a hands on learning experience as they participate in this simple low cost activity of comparing non-renewable resources and renewable resources for providing the world with its energy needs.
