About me
I am passionate about what Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) has to offer students. I have enjoyed teaching Family Consumer Sciences in Utah and Wyoming the past 15 years, and I am currently serving as the Utah FCCLA State Adviser. I enjoy being able to provide opportunities for students to think outside the box and find themselves within our programs. In the past 15 years I have had the opportunity to work with 5 state officers, and a number of chapter officers. I love to see the growth students have when their see their potential. I graduated from Tabiona High School where I had 15 kids in my class, and went from one small town to another since I did my undergraduate work at BYU-Hawaii & BYU-Idaho. I graduated from USU with my Masters degree in Career and Technical Education in 2017. I believe that we have to advocate for our programs, our careers, and our students.
