Utah ACTE 2025

Jennifer attended Utah State University and studied Business Management and Marketing. Upon graduation she worked in both finance and marketing positions until taking a break from the work place to stay home and raise her 4 children. Upon her return to the workforce, Jennifer served as the president of an education advocacy non-profit organization. During this time she served on the Utah State Dyslexia Task Force, the Utah State Special Education Advisory Panel, and was an author of the Utah State Dyslexia Handbook. She became passionate about public education and in 2019 entered an alternative route to licensure program and started teaching business and marketing at Sunset Ridge Middle School in West Jordan Utah. Jennifer is currently the CTE team leader at Sunset Ridge Middle School teaching Exploring Business and Marketing, College and Career Awareness, Creative Coding, Digital Graphic Arts Intro, and Yearbook Publication. She is also adjunct faculty, teaching social media marketing, at Brigham Young University Idaho.
