Rio Polidori is a distinguished educator and professional with a rich background in both education and accounting. Holding a Bachelor's in Accounting and a Master's in Information Systems from the University of Utah, as well as a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU. With four years of experience as a high school educator at Taylorsville High School, they have taught a range of business courses, including Accounting (1 & 2), Real Estate, Entrepreneurship, and Concurrent Enrollment through Salt Lake Community College. Their role extends beyond the classroom as the Esports Advisor and the future DECA Advisor for the 2024-25 school year.
Before their educational career, Rio spent a decade in accounting and financial analytics and served six years in the Navy, reflecting their diverse skill set and commitment to service. With their dedication to education and their students, Rio was recognized in 2023 as the ‘Most Valuable Educator’ by the Utah Jazz and Instructure, highlighting their impact in shaping the minds of future generations.
