About me
Kayla has taught at Fairfield Junior High, Ogden High School, and is currently employed as a sewing and interior design lecturer at Utah State University. She has experience teaching almost every FCS subject, but sewing is her true love. She designs patterns that are available to the public for free. Sewing is her passion and she loves teaching it to others. She is the mother of a one-year-old daughter and stepmother to an almost five-year-old girl. She received a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from Utah State and a master's degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Capella University. When not working, she is a jack of all trades (and master of none). She loves nothing more than to tackle a new challenge, especially while seriously overestimating her skills and gets herself into all sorts of fun projects that way.
