About me
Dr. Lacee R. Boschetto has been an educator for 19 years. Prior to her seven years teaching at Utah State University (USU), she taught high school courses for 12 years in Southern California. Lacee is currently an Assistant Professor in the Applied Sciences, Technology, and Education program at Utah State University, teaching in the FCSE undergraduate program and CTE graduate program. Her research emphasis includes evaluating and improving how family and consumer sciences courses assist in developing the life skills necessary to successfully transition into adulthood and contribute to individuals, families, and communities. Dr. Boschetto works closely with Career and Technical Education teachers in higher education and secondary schools, assists in developing secondary education curricula, and is part of the USU PBL Team which creates project-based learning resources for CCA teachers. She has published multiple articles on effective pedagogy, engages with the USU Council on Teacher Education, and currently holds the Human Development and Family Studies Chair position on the Utah Association for Family and Consumer Sciences board.
